Subject: Proximal humerus fx/luxation - delayed Rx

Hello all,

A man 47 y.o. just admitted to our unit with the fracture of proximal humerus and posterior luxation of the head. 1 month since the injury.

He was operated through extended anterior approach. Luxation of the head was reduced, the tubercle was found already united to the head. Few small fragments were removed. Transarticluar wires for 4 weeks, plaster cast to 8 weeks are planned. See attachment for images.

THX for your opinions.

Best regards,
