Subject: Clavicular - rib synostosis

CT cuts of 45yo male with multiple sclerosis 1 yr s/p MC Crash.
Pt complains of restricted shoulder ROM and pain w/ ROM.
I beleive he has a synostosis clavicle to first rib. Have others seen this problem? Is it likely to be symptomatic?

Consider sternocostoclavicular hyperostosis.
