Case 2

I would appreciate diagnostic and treatment suggestions.

History: A 37 year old black male , complains of pain in his right hip. No history of fever.

Physical Exam : Good general condition.

Rt Hip : Antalgic gait. Painful examination of the hip in all directions.

Lab: Leukocytes - 12,000/cubic mm., ESR 19 mm/hr, Sickle cell - negative.
